  • AJOY is 100% owned by Tuesday P. Brooks, MBA. It was founded January 2009.

  • While our number of clients is fluid. Rest assured we manage staff to client ratios so that we can continue to offer personal service to each of our clients. We pride ourselves on being accessible to every client. It runs lovely however, when clients understand that they are not our only client. We have to spread the love.❣️

  • AJOY is not a CPA. It is a Tax Accounting firm. Depending on the season, there are licensed CPAs on the team. Further, should your company grow in a way that requires a certified public accountant, we have relationships with CPA colleagues who we trust and enjoy referring our clients to.

  • AJOY is not a financial advisory firm (well, not as it pertains to investing) but, we have a team of Financial Advisors that we trust and enjoy referring our clients to.

  • AJOY offers bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation and strategic planning, accounting advisory services, business coaching and training, Profit First cash management services, and notary services.

  • Yes, AJOY has professional referral arrangements with Gusto, and Wells Fargo Bank. These are not exclusive relationships, nor do we endorse these companies.

  • We do not publish prices for the general public. Each client situation is different and as such we must first have a discovery call to find out more about your needs and wants. This way we can offer pricing that is fair to you, and to us, and in line with your needs. We take pride in what we believe to be fair and competitive pricing.

  • ItEach year we register with the IRS as a Registered Tax Return Preparer program as part of the Annual Filing Season Program requirements. Our registration can be found in the directory at IRS.gov.

  • Each year we register with the NY Department of Taxation and Finance as part of the education requirements for the Registered Tax Preparer certification program.

  • Not only is AJOY a certified NYC M/WBE, and NY M/WBE, but it is also a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE); Service-Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOB); Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE); and Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE). scription

Our core clients are women-led business owners with revenue between $100k - $1m per year. This way we are able to support aspiring business owners who are working toward this goal and greater.
